  1. Use Arena Banks during round robin play

    Our Head-to-Head league sometimes plays multiple games during a session, and we like to arrange games by theme, average playing time, or dmd/ss/em style.

    We have to jury rig the system to make this work and would like to allow banks to simplify the players' experience. Double round robin doesn't help.

  2. Add “Previous Round” and “Next Round” arrow buttons

    On Matches page, just under the Select Round pull-down menu, add two buttons to immediately go back one round or advance one round.

  3. Card based best game - display each machine's results in descending order

    As it is now in the big screen view, each game's results are listed in the order of the players who have played it. I would suggest showing the best result on top and then in descending order.

    It's entirely possible that I missed something and that this already exists...

  4. Add the ‘Compare’ Button to the Player Listing to Compare against All Players in a Tournament

    There is currently the ‘Compare’ function on any individual matchup within a round within an event. It would be nice to have a ‘Compare’ button at a Tournament level so as to be able to look across all players in a tournament to see your rating/percentage against everyone.

  5. Implement traditional Flip Frenzy rules

    1) Winners go back to the queue
    2) Losers get another shot on the same game they just lost on unless they have already played two games. This happens regardless of how many games are in the tournament.

  6. Implement 'UK' Flip Frenzy rules

    The way we're pretty consistently running Flip Frenzy tournaments in the UK now is that after a heads-up match on game X, player 2 stays on the machine (but now plays as player 1). The player that was Player 1 returns to the queue, and the next person from the queue joins the game (as player 2). In summary - you get two games on the machine (first as player 2, then as player 1) before returning to the queue.

  7. Remove "Deactivated" players from seeding or allow player removal

    Is there any chance of making it so that "deactivated" players are not shown in the ifpa rankings tab? As players drop out and new ones come in, the fact they are still shown and numbered throws off how easy it is to make groups (ala 1/16/1736) when every # is off because of crossed out players.

    Or allow the ability to remove players from tournaments if they were put in by accident or drop out before tournament start.

  9. Automatically assign arenas when they become available

    When there are more player groups than there are arenas available, groups will often get assigned "no arena". The TD must manually click to assign arenas after a few games, and whether an arena is assigned is sort of a crap shoot. Often, groups can wait unnecessarily long times if a TD forgets to try again at regular intervals. It would be fantastic if matchplay would automatically assign these arenas when they become available.

  10. Make IFPA Results Available After a Tournament is Closed

    Hey! Matchplay ratings are great, but they only work if folks close their tournaments and submit the results.

    Forcing a user to close out a tournament to get the easy to use IFPA results is low hanging fruit to help improve the Matchplay ratings system as a whole.

  11. Flip Frenzy - Intermission

    We'd like to see a way to specify an intermission period during a Flip Frenzy tournament, where the next game is not chosen until the intermission is over. This would keep the average duration stats for each game accurate.

  12. Knockout, Strikes Out, Best of 3

    Strikes out tournament with best of three or five knockout. Example 3strikes out/best of 3.

    Many players plays best of three at same machine with software now or change machine but I think machine change is not so easy now

  14. Add ascending / descending options to "play order"

    In group Matchplay I want the higher position player to play last. In 2 player groups, play oder "standing gives choice" to the top player, but in 4p choice is too complicated, so I would like the play order listed with top player last. Maybe this is a new play order in the listing or a modifier to reverse.

  15. Treat lowercase and uppercase the same for alphabetization

    Currently names that start with a lowercase are sorted after those that start with an uppercase. This makes it hard to find names that have been entered without capitalization.

  16. New Format: Roundless Robin

    I would like a format mixing PPP! and Round Robin - whenever a game ends, two players that have not yet played one another are placed on that game. Thie intent is to eliminate down time between rounds and maximize diversity of opponents - In traditional Round Robin, if two people would play one another in the next round, why not start the game now?

    This could also be implemented as a Flip Frenzy configuration option where where opponents that have already been faced are skipped in the queue.

  18. Flip Frenzy - Auto-assign random available arena after malfunctions

    For Flip Frenzy tournaments, when there is an arena malfunction, I would like to see a replacement arena assigned automatically (and at random) from the set of currently available arenas. As it is implemented today, when an area malfunction is noted, the game is disabled, the players go back to the top of the queue, but the TD must manually select another available arena as its replacement and more importantly, there is no way for the arena to be chosen at random.

  19. Merge Arenas

    I've noticed that my arenas list is getting kind of messy over time. It would be nice if it supported the same merge functionality as players. I'd love to be able to merge some of the duplicate arenas that are, in fact, the same game. (And, of course, not have it break references to those tourneys they were used in.)

  20. Tournament notes field

    Just a general textarea in the tournament screen that's private to the TD where they can keep track of any game issues, tiebreakers played outside the matchplay tourney format, rulings or complications during play. Something to look back on a few days later to refresh memory
