New tournament format: Target Match Play
This is the qualification format used at "Pinball at the lake". The tournament organizer sets a target number of points. Players play a regular match play tournament, but when a player reaches the target score they are considered "qualified" and will be removed from subsequent rounds.
Target Match Play is available as a tournament format exclusively in the new version of Match Play. Try it here: https://next.matchplay.events/

Any word on this feature? Looking to run a sizable target matchplay event in spring 2022. Would love to not have to come up with a custom solution and stick with you!

I enjoy this format a lot. I think it would go quicker if players would be placed in the queue in order from low to high rankings.

I would like to play this format at Pincinnati. Having the software would make it happen.

Part of me enjoys the exclusivity of this format, but I definitely don't want to keep others from enjoying it :)

This was also used at The Amazing Pinball Race, and I thought it went really really well!
