Custom Best Game scoring option
Add a Best Game option format where the organizer can customize it and/or define it? It would give us TDs as bit more flexibilty…..
For example, this weekend we are doing a best game format across 6 pins where only the Top 5 on a pin get points (10/7/5/3/1), the rest get zero points.

Flip Frenzy Finals Option
When running Flip Frenzy competitions, I would like to have the option to select Flip Frenzy when selecting "create finals".
At all of my events, we do 3 hours of qualifying with the top 10 advancing the to Finals. The Finals consist of another 60 minute Flip Frenzy.

Provide a Hide Queue option in Frenzies
Since we run frenzies with very small queues at Bluffs, I'd like to have the option to hide the queue, so that players can't game who they play.

Add “Previous Round” and “Next Round” arrow buttons
On Matches page, just under the Select Round pull-down menu, add two buttons to immediately go back one round or advance one round.

Add the ‘Compare’ Button to the Player Listing to Compare against All Players in a Tournament
There is currently the ‘Compare’ function on any individual matchup within a round within an event. It would be nice to have a ‘Compare’ button at a Tournament level so as to be able to look across all players in a tournament to see your rating/percentage against everyone.

Knockout, Strikes Out, Best of 3
Strikes out tournament with best of three or five knockout. Example 3strikes out/best of 3.
Many players plays best of three at same machine with software now or change machine but I think machine change is not so easy now

Treat lowercase and uppercase the same for alphabetization
Currently names that start with a lowercase are sorted after those that start with an uppercase. This makes it hard to find names that have been entered without capitalization.

Tournament notes field
Just a general textarea in the tournament screen that's private to the TD where they can keep track of any game issues, tiebreakers played outside the matchplay tourney format, rulings or complications during play. Something to look back on a few days later to refresh memory

Handicap Applied to Scores to allow players of different skill levels to compete in social comps
To encourage new players to enjoy playing social tournaments (none IFPA) using Best Game or Match Play formats where you have a very wide range of player skill levels. I often use a handicapping system which discounts good players scores relative to players who are more beginners.
The benefit is that it means all skills levels feel they need to push themselves.
The % discount would be set when adding a player to the competition and scores which are input are just discounted by the % before allocating tournament points. eg if a player with a Handicap % of 40%…

Add column for actual score in Best Game Tournaments --Big Screen View---Standings
When doing a best game tournament there is nowhere that you can see the entire field with their actual score. Only the most recent 500 scores. No searchable way to see the entire field sorted by actual score. In the standings column under big screen view you only see the points associated with how well you did (linear 100,99,98 etc). It would be nice to see the actual score somewhere....anywhere...so you can quickly verify everything and make it easier for others players to see where they are at or what score they need to beat.

Add a column on the "Tournament standings" page for organizers indicating the number of rounds a player has played
It would be helpful to have an easy way to identify if a player has participated in half of the qualifying rounds without having to check each player's profile. (Something that can't easily be done from the Organizer view because the names aren't clickable in the standings.)
If there were a column for "# of rounds played" on the "Tournament standings" page for organizers, you could see at a glance whether a player should be included in the IFPA results submission or not.
Alternatively, maybe players who haven't completed half of the qualifying requirements could be automatically excluded from the…

Allow TD to reassign the bye in a given round
It's possible to change players in a match, but attempting to change the player who had the bye failed. I was trying to handle the case of running a three-player match with loser getting the strike once we were down to just three players in our 4-strikes tournament. The player with the bye in that round needed a strike. I was able to assign them to the match, but couldn't update the Bye to be one of the players not taking a strike that round.
This might just be a bug where the page tried to require two players for…

Add Critical hit scoring
There is an option in matchplay that is winner gets a point 1/0/0/0
So in crit hit top 2 get cards aka a "point"
By any chance could there be a crit hit one added that is 1/1/0/0?
That way at the end points should equal cards (in theory) to make sure everyone has what they should have and for tracking purposes.2 votes -
Support balanced starting positions in round robin tournaments
Round Robin tournaments does not support balanced starting positions for players (double round robin has alternating starting positions). A configuration option should be added to round robin tournaments so tournament organizers can enabled balanced starting positions.

Registration fee when allowing self registration.
Require registration fee to be sent to TD email through PayPal (or other payament service) when allowing self registration. Would allow collection of IFPA fees for selfie leagues or other formats where sign ups are not done face-to-face.

Add a new format: Fixed Card
This is a card format where a set group of games must be played together to form a valid card. TDs should be able to dictate what a "valid card" consists of (list of games) and then players or scorekeepers can select pre-set cards to assign to each player.

Have voided cards persist somewhere after voiding
It would be extremely helpful to have a way to view voided cards after they are voided - for tracking purposes and also as an aid when deleting and re-creating a card due to a game swap.

Let TD enable/disable all arenas in same category with one click
Will help with tournaments where the tournament switches between arena categories from round to round.

Let TD send messages directly to specific players
If players have phone numbers attached to their accounts, let the tournament organizer send a message to one or more players (without revealing the player's phone number)
